Graduate of the University of Vermont and of Suffolk Law School, Boston, MA.
Member of the Massachusetts Bar Association since 1975.
Has practiced law on Central Street in downtown Lowell, MA, since 1977, serving the residents of Lowell and the surrounding communities. Serving greater Lowell and the Merrimack Valley including matters in the Essex Probate Court in Lawrence and Salem, as well as the Middlesex Probate Court in Cambridge, Concord, Marlboro and Lowell.
Expertise and familiarity with the family law system in Massachusetts, including the various courts, judges and personnel that impact each case.
Offering a direct approach to the problems at hand by narrowing the issues and seeking a prompt, fair resolution by means of negotiation or litigation, as necessary.
Clients receive a constant flow of information, by phone or by copies of all documents and correspondence.
Fees are determined in each case based upon the facts and issues therein. Hourly rates charged are very fair and affordable. My goal is to provide representation for the people of the greater Lowell area, from all parts of the population. Quality legal representation can be available for all individuals, as family issues touch everyone at some time.
Fees will be adjusted on a case-by-case basis. There can be a flat, all-inclusive charge for a basic, uncontested divorce or other matter. It is understood that timely, cost-effective resolution of most cases is highly desired by the client.
Compassion and understanding are two important elements of the attorney-client relationship. A fair and reasonable conclusion to a case is the goal of my firm.
I have been appointed by the judges of the Middlesex Probate Court and have served as a Guardian Ad Litem in many family law cases, especially involving the rights of children.
